Overnight Sewer Work In Mago Point Area
This is a message from The Waterford Utility Commission.
The Town of Waterford Utility Commission and its contractor will be conducting necessary overnight work on the Town’s underground sewer piping in your area between the hours of 11:00 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2011 until 7:00 AM on Friday, May 6, 2011. The work includes using large pumper trucks to pump sewage from the Mago Point Sewer Pump Station located on 4th Street and to then empty the trucks out into a gravity sewer manhole located at the intersection of Logger Hill Road and Rope Ferry Road (Route 156). Other areas where work will be conducted include the sewer manhole at the intersection of Gallup Lane and Rope Ferry Road (Route 156) and the sewer manhole located at the intersection of Millstone Road West and Niantic River Road.
At times, the pumper trucks can generate noise levels above those allowed by town ordinance. The Town appreciates your cooperation during these events. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call Dennis Dievert of Wright-Pierce Engineers prior to or during the event at 860-559-8293.
