The Year of Waterford Baseball
How Waterford baseball and softball season went this year.

As everyone has noticed, baseball has officially ended just about everywhere. The World Series has just ended, and Halloween has just passed us. This is a recap on this years Waterford Little League and Babe Ruth teams.
First off, just about everyone knows that the 14-year-old All-Star team for Babe Ruth , and brought back a championship sign that you can see at the Waterford Babe Ruth field. This group of players is the team we should hang our hat on this year, as they easily showed to be the best team. Although, the 9-10 North softball All-Stars while going undefeated to get there. They got to travel to Windsor to play for the state championship, but ended up with a 2-3 record. It was still an outstanding performance. They then went on to play for for the state championship, but ended up a little bit short. Maybe the reason why the South 9-10 boys All-Stars had also won district championship was because they had such a great team to look up to. The younger kids even did a better job than the 11-12’s! They went all the way to the . These guys had a great season, and Waterford South definitely has some great years to look forward to.
