Citizens Academy Applications Available

WATERFORD, CT — The Waterford Police Department's Citizens Academy applications are available. The academy runs Thursday nights from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning March 5 and ends May 14.

This 10 week program, which is sponsored by the Waterford Rotary Club, fills up fast so get your application in soon.

The academy helps to build relationships between the community and police, and provides a look at behind-the-scene training.

Applications can be found the police website at www.waterfordpolice.org or you can fill out a paper application at the police department lobby.
