CT Human Society Closes Waterford Location
The Human Society has closed its local location, as organizations across the state shut down interactions with the public.

WATERFORD, CT — The Connecticut Humane Society is closing its local location and asking people not to drop off unattended animals or food/supplies at the location.
According to a statement on Waterford Police's Facebook page:
"The Connecticut Humane Society facility on Old Colchester Road in Quaker Hill, is temporarily closing starting tomorrow (Sunday the 22nd). They expect it to only last till about April 4th but that is subject to change. No services will be available at that location.

"This is important as people drop unattended animals there as well as food and supplies on occasion. Please do not leave anything there during this time.
"By appointment only, they are accepting serious medical matters at their Fox Memorial site in Newington, CT. 1-800-452-0114. More info can be found at www.cthumane.org"
