East Lyme Man Charged With Assault, DUI In Waterford Car Crash: Police
An East Lyme man has been arrested in connection with a car crash last year that left one driver seriously injured.
WATERFORD, CT — A man has been arrested in connection with a two-car crash that led to one driver suffering serious injuries, according to a police statement. Gregory Wilbur, 24, of East Lyme, was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, and reckless driving.
He was held on $100,000 bond and transported to Superior Court in New London for arraignment.
Wilbur turned himself in Monday on a warrant for his arrest.

The arrest is in connection with an investigation into a two-car accident that occurred Nov. 8 on Hartford Road in Waterford. Both drivers were injured in the crash. One of the drivers was flown by medical helicopter to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
