The Annual Community Garden Clean Up will be on May 7th from 10:00am to 12noon at the garden next to the Town Hall. We will also be working on the island at the entrance of the High School and the garden that runs along the side of the Community Center by the Memorial Statue. The Community Center is new this year. The GGA Union which consist of the General Gov't Administrators will be donating time and funds to improve this area. People will see at the different town buildings improvements to the facilities where Union Members are employeed. The GGA will be doing clean up of outside gardens and replacement of plants and flowers. If you would like to help out at any of these three locations please let Kerry Sullivan at Waterford Recreation and Parks know. Currently she has a number of Girl Scout Troops (her dependable workers) helping her with the Town Hall, but more troops would be appreciated at the other sites. This is a great community service project for both the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts as well as the high school students who still need their Community Service Hours. Come help beautify your community, we always have fun!
