Former Waterford Schools Superintendent Dies At 90
Former Waterford superintendent of schools David Cattanach died at his home on Thursday.
WATERFORD, CT — Former Waterford superintendent of schools David Cattanach died at his home on Thursday, The New London Day reported. He was 90.
Cattanach was born in Houston and moved to Connecticut in 1960 for a teaching job in Chester. He began working in Waterford schools as assistant principal of Waterford High School in 1986.
Cattanach also served on the Representative Town Meeting a few years after he retired.
