Did you know the WPD will check on your house while you’re away? For decades we have offered this service, yet relatively few people take advantage of it. If you fill out the form below, and drop it at the police department, we will check on your house as part of our normal duties.

We give out the houses to be checked in roll call, and Officers do their best to check them throughout shift. We can’t say we’ll check it every shift, but if we know it will be vacant, and know what is supposed to be there - lights on, cars, etc. we will certainly do our best to swing by. If we see a problem, the Waterford Emergency Communications Center will contact you on the number/email you’ve left.
