Help End Homelessness -- 9th Annual Walk is April 24
Proceeds benefit the Homeless Hospitality Center in New London.

The 9th Annual Walk to End Homelessness will be Sunday, April 24, starting from the Homeless Hospitality Center’s parking lot at 325 Huntington St. in New London.
Registration begins at 2 p.m., with the walk following at 2:30.
It will include three stops with special activities coordinated by Connecticut College students to raise awareness about homelessness. Organizers expect more than 400 people to participate.

The two-mile walk follows easy terrain along Huntington Street to downtown New London. It is organized by HHC and Connecticut College; the lead sponsor is Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. All proceeds benefit HHC.
HHC, founded in 2006, provides hospitality and a bridge to permanent housing for adults experiencing homelessness in New London County. It serves more than 500 individuals annually.

Walkers can register at https://goo.gl/mBh3JQ and download a form for friends and family to sponsor them. The top three walkers will win prizes from local businesses, including The Garde Arts Center and the Drunken Palette.
