From Hoarding to a Hopeful New Home

Moo the cat is with Waterford-East Lyme Animal Control and he will need a new home after a scary start to life.

This is Moo. He came from the hoarding case in Norwich along with another cat, who has already been adopted.

Mister Moo is still behaving very frightened and I am working with him daily to try and get him to trust again, but he is still pretty hissy and will not be adopted to anyone with small children.

Ideally he will need to go with someone who can help him come out of his shell in a calm quiet environment, or perhaps a career as a mouser as a barn cat is in his future.

He is, however, not in any mood to curl up on your lap and purr right this moment. Perhaps with some love and patience he will, but not today.

If you think you might be able to help him out, please stop by the Waterford animal shelter to meet him. He is an 8-month-old male un-neutered cat. He is up to date on his Rabies [vaccination] and FIV negative.
