It's Fun for All Ages at the COMO's 63rd Annual Stonington Village Fair

Join the COMO for a day full of fun this upcoming Saturday, August 1st!

Join the Stonington Community Center (COMO) on the Stonington Borough Village Green on Saturday, August 1st from 11 am to 4 pm for the 63rd Annual Village Fair. This time-honored, community tradition is fun for all! Enjoy an array of delicious food including delicious lobster rolls, the ever popular “Soup Garden” highlighting hot and cold soups from local restaurants, shop local artisans, listen to music, peruse the used book sale, and so much more! Games, prizes and other entertainment delight children both young and young at heart. Find a one-of-a-kind item at the Silent Auction, featuring incredible antiques, services, gift certificates, original artwork, gift baskets, furniture and more. You’ll be sure to find a bargain at Treasures & Trifles – a taste of the COMO Thrift Shop at the fair. A tasty new facet has been introduced this year: a Pie Bake-Off! We are still accepting pie entries for ages 18+ and will also have a cookie bake off for youth ages 8-17. The entries will be judged by local chefs, Paul Krawic, Executive Chef at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, and Jamie Fowler, Executive Chef at Water Street Café. There is amusement for everyone at this beloved event. All proceeds benefit the Stonington Community Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families and community for the past 70 years. For more information, visit www.thecomo.org or call the COMO at 860.535.2476. This event is sponsored in part by major sponsors Liberty Rentals of Rhode Island, The Day, and the Sun Publishing Company. See you at the fair!
