Jump Into Kidgits Fun at Crystal Mall

Local children will have a chance to roll up their sleeves and get creative in the kitchen when Crystal Mall hosts Kidgits Lil Chefs on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Old Navy Court.

Attendees will enjoy a morning that features food-themed crafts and activities such as designing cupcakes, making fruit loop necklaces and building fruit skewers. There will also be food samples from local eateries including Subway and Margaritas of Mystic. Children in attendance will receive a Kidgits goody bag.

On Saturday, June 20, Kidgits members will have a chance to jump to their hearts delight during a special Moon Bounce activity, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Old Navy Court.

“We are pleased to host programming that encourages children to channel their creativity in a dynamic and fun way,” commented Debra Botelho, director of marketing and business development for Crystal Mall. “We are excited to welcome families to Crystal Mall to enjoy these spirited activities.”

Kidgits Lil Chefs and the Moon Bounce are free to attend for members of the Simon Kidgits Club, a fun and informative program that focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages 3-8. Since 2003, the Simon Kidgits Club has kept children and parents alike amused with various events and activities while providing incentives for club members, such as special offers, rewards and games.

Annual membership is $5 and provides access to monthly events and scheduled activities, such as the Moon Bounce, at Crystal Mall. Kidgits Club members receive a variety of goodies, including a Kidgits Club T-shirt, membership card, birthday card and gift and discounts.
