Karl Kelly Scholarship Fund 6th Annual Concert

Concert and Raffle

The Karl Kelly Memorial Scholarship Fund will be holding its 6th annual concert and raffle bonanza on April 29, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Langley’s Restaurant in Waterford CT in honor of Karl Kelly. The New London Education Foundation is a non-profit charitable educational foundation which exists under the auspices of a 501 © (3), tax id # 20-4524684, tax-deductible status by the IRS. The money we raise goes towards promoting and inspiring young local musicians through scholarship funds throughout Southeastern Connecticut.

Karl Kelly, a New London native, is a member of the Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame, was one of those wonderfully charismatic folks whose energy and goodwill seemed impervious to the ravages of time.

A lot of people understood and cherished that about Karl and his music — which is one of the reasons that the 6th Annual Karl Kelly Memorial Scholarship Concert, taking place Sunday at the Great Neck Country Club in Waterford, resonates on so many levels.
