Members of the Leadership Program Class of 2015 completed their class project last weekend, which included refurbishing client housing for Reliance House in Norwich. The project was made possible through the generosity of local business donors.
The 28 members of the Chamber Leadership Program spent Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the main office of Reliance House, which is in great need of repair. Their chosen efforts include repainting offices, replacing carpet, repairing, power-washing and staining the deck, and providing new furniture for client and staff use.
In order to ensure the success of this project, the group sought contributions to help defray the costs of paint supplies, carpeting, lumber, furniture, and other necessary expenses. Other fundraisers included restaurant days, in-office events, and jeans days.
