'Lonely' Skyla the Dog Still Needs a Home

Can you help by adopting or sharing this post?

Well, another week goes by and poor Skyla has not found her forever home. She has shown much promise and would love to meet prospective families.

She is a 2-year-old female Pit Bull who was signed over to the shelter when her owners had to move. While the Waterford animal shelter does not impose time limits on our animals, extended periods of time at the shelter are not good for the animals and can lead to their health and behavior deterioration.

This is week five for her here, she is very lonely and would love the chance to impress you. Please share her photo and let’s find her a forever home. She seems fine with dogs, cats and children, although she does need exercise and structure.

“Please do not let breed stereotypes keep you from meeting this dog,” the ACO said. “Stop by the animal shelter weekdays between 9 and 5 weekdays to meet her.”
