Looking for Families to House Students From China
Waterford Public Schools will be hosting a Chinese/American Culture Summer Camp.

Waterford Public Schools will host 15-20 visiting Chinese high school students for approximately 12 days from July 7th to 18th. We are currently seeking families who are willing to share their homes and American lifestyle with Chinese high school students.
The Chinese high school students will engage in workshops to learn about American life, as well as tours to a variety of cultural activities. Host families will have the opportunity to join in evening activities. A stipend of $150 per student will be provided to host families. When you spend time with people from other countries, your whole world expands. You’ll learn about another culture and language and do the same for someone else.
Hosting an exchange student is a rewarding experience for your whole family. Students will attend summer camp during the day at Waterford High School and at night/weekend will spend time with their host family. Drop off and pick up from Waterford High School is required. This is a first come, first serve opportunity. Background check is required.
