Man Charged Following Police Pursuit That Ended In Waterford, Police Say
Police chased a man twice whose vehicle was involved in "an active criminal investigation."
WATERFORD, CT — A New London man is facing charges after a police chase that ended in Waterford.
A New London officer tried to a stop the vehicle Saturday at 2:23 a.m. due to the vehicle being associated with "an active criminal investigation," police said.
The vehicle fled and police pursued. Police notified other area departments but were unable to catch the vehicle.

Police later located the vehicle again and pursued. The chase ended in Waterford, where police took the man into custody.
Cruz Bonilla Jr., 33, of New London, was charged with engaging police in a pursuit, disobeying direction of an officer, reckless driving, failure to obey traffic control signal, and operating with a suspended license.
