Man Charged In Smoke Shop Robbery, Waterford Police Say
A man is facing several theft and gun charges in connection with the incident.
WATERFORD, CT — A man has been charged in the robbery of a smoke shop in Waterford, according to police.
Frank Straub, 41, was arrested Tuesday.
Police said Straub was involved in the robbery of the Price Cutter Vape and Smoke Shop at 26 Norwich Road in the Quaker Hill section of town on Feb. 3.

Straub was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree larceny, criminal possession of a firearm, and carrying a dangerous weapon, police said.
He was held on $350,000 court-set bond and was arraigned at New London Superior Court on Tuesday.

Officers from the Waterford Police Department Patrol Division and Investigative Services Division, as well as the Montville and Norwich Police Departments completed this investigation.
