Man Crashes Stolen Car Into Stone Wall In Waterford: Report
A New Haven man is facing charges after his car crashed into a stone wall Saturday.
WATERFORD, CT — A man is facing accusations that he stole a car and drove it into a stone wall in Waterford, according to The New London Day. Richard Ivuzimana, 18, of New Haven, was charged Saturday with first-degree larceny, conspiracy, second-degree criminal trover damage to motor vehicle, and interfering with a police officer.
He was held on $20,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Monday.
Ivuzimana fled after his car hit a stone wall on Vauxhall Street at 1 p.m. Saturday, according to The New London Day. Police pursued and caught him in the woods off Vauxhall Street with the help of a K-9.
