December 15, 11:30am-12:30pm, Walmart

WATERFORD – State Representative Kathleen McCarty (R-38) and State Senator Paul Formica (R-20) will be volunteering to raise money for local residents in need by collecting for the Salvation Army at the Waterford Walmart on December 15. All proceeds collected during the one hour of bell ringing will be generously matched by Walmart.
When: Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Walmart, 155 Parkway North, Waterford, CT
This will be the second year Rep. McCarty and Sen. Formica ring the bell. Last year they raised nearly $2,500 with the help of generous contributions from residents, customers and matching funds from the
Walmart Foundation. The House Republican Caucus as a whole has raised $186,351 for the Salvation Army with the help of Walmart over the past several years.
The lawmakers welcome all of their constituents to stop by the store to help make the fundraising event a success! If you are unable to make it on December 15, please visit the Salvation Army’s website at www.salvationarmyusa.org to learn about other ways you can do good this holiday season – like donating cars, clothing, household goods, airline miles, bonds and stocks, or volunteering for the community.
