McCarty to host Mental Health Forum at Town Hall

Thursday Nov. 12 at the Waterford Town Hall Auditorium, 5:00- 7:00 p.m.

WATERFORD – Rep. Kathleen McCarty (R-38) is hosting a Mental Health Forum, Thursday Nov. 12 at the Waterford Town Hall Auditorium, 5:00- 7:00 p.m. The forum panel will feature experts and officials from various Connecticut organizations including, TVCCA, Eastern Regional Mental Health Board and SERAC.

Waterford Superintendent of Schools, Tom Giard, and Chief of Police, Brett Mahoney, will also be panel participants.

The forum will include a detailed Q-A on the availability and state of mental health services in Connecticut, and will address how the new state budget may impact these services and programs.
