Misquamicut Beach 2015 Salt Pond Challenge

The 13th Annual Misquamicut Beach 2015 Salt Pond Challenge.

New England Science & Sailing, the Misquamicut Business Association and the Westerly Recreation Department Present: The 13TH Annual MISQUAMICUT BEACH 2015 SALT POND CHALLENGE
Proceeds benefit the Westerly School Immersion Field Trips to NESS and Beach and Pond area cleanup.

When: August 11th, 2015, Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. (rain or shine)
Where: Winnapaug Salt Pond, adjacent to Misquamicut State Beach, Atlantic Avenue, Westerly, RI.
Distance: 1-Mile (½-mile out & ½-mile back).
Entry Fee: Non-Refundable – $15 pre-registration https://www.eventbrite.com/e/misquamicut-salt-pond-challenge-tickets-177... - by August 10th; $20 day of race.
Caps: Please bring your own brightly colored swim cap –required! Wetsuits allowed.
Check In: 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
Parking: Free at Misquamicut State Beach, west side.
Safety: Due to uncertainty of weather conditions (e.g., fog or lightning), lifeguards/event committee reserve the right to reschedule (e.g., Saturday) or alter the event to ensure safety of the participants.
