New England Science & Sailing Foundation Hosts Junior Safety at Sea Seminar

NESS will host the Fourth Annual Stonington Junior Safety at Sea Seminar on Friday, July 31, from 8:30am-5:00pm

STONINGTON, CT. New England Science & Sailing (NESS) Foundation will host the Fourth Annual Stonington Junior Safety at Sea Seminar on Friday, July 31, from 8:30am-5:00pm at 70 Water Street. The seminar is presented by the Storm Trysail Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the education of young sailors, junior safety at sea, and intercollegiate big boat racing.

Topics for morning seminars include flare use, VHF communications, fire control, medical, and dockside demonstrations. Afternoon sessions will get sailors on the water for man overboard drills and setting a storm sail.
