New Laundromat Opens In Waterford

WATERFORD, CT — Laundromat Express, conveniently located in the Stop and Shop Plaza on Boston Post Road in Waterford, is now open. The former “It’s a Wash” Laundromat is receiving a fresh look, a new name and a focused approach on customer service.

“We’re excited to establish a locally owned laundromat business in our hometown” Laundromat Express co-owner Melissa Rheaume said in a release.

With over 3,000 square feet of space, including a convenient sliding door, ample parking and a new kid’s area coming soon, Laundromat Express features all different sized washers and dryers for self-use.

These machines also feature a wash, dry and fold feature, where customers can drop off their clothes to be washed, dried and folded for just 99 cents-per-pound.

“We’re expanding hours and providing a clean, fun and economical laundry experience for our customers," co-owner Brian Rheaume said in a release. "Customer service will be our number one focus."
