No Repeat For Waterford Boys’
The Waterford High School boys' basketball team lost to Bunnell on Saturday, 65-37, in the second round of the Class L state tournament.
They’ll be no repeat for the Lancers this year.
On Saturday, the Waterford High School boys’ basketball team lost to Bunnell in Bunnell, 65-37, in the second round of the Class L state tournament. The 14th-ranked Lancers defeated Guilford in the first round of the tournament, 48-40, but fell four days later to third-ranked Bunnell.
The team won the Class M state championship last year, although all five starters on that team graduated. The Lancers were also forced to move up to Class L following the championship.

The Lancers finished their regular season with a 12-8 record.
