Nominations for William Crawford Distinguished Service Award Open

Nominations for the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s William Crawford Distinguished Service Award are now being accepted. Since 1977, the William Crawford Distinguished Service Award has been periodically presented to an outstanding member of the community who has exemplified the spirit of service to one’s neighbors and who has contributed to improving the quality of life in eastern Connecticut.

Nominees must:

·         Be a resident of and active for at least 3 years in Eastern Connecticut

·         Not currently be an elected or appointed government official

·         Be alive at the time of selection

·         Have not received the award previously
