Obituary: Christine Donegan LeBlanc, 81, Of Waterford

Christine Donegan LeBlanc, 81, of Waterford passed away on Thursday June 15, 2017 at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London.

She was born on December 25, 1935 in Manhattan, New York a daughter of the late Dominick and Kathleen O’Donnell Donegan.

Mrs. LeBlanc had been married on August 29, 1959 in New York to the late Charles L. LeBlanc. He passed away on December 23, 1986.

Mrs. LeBlanc’s interests included reading, decorating and sewing.

Her survivors include two daughters Ellen Shepard and her husband Mark of Griswold, Jeanne LeBlanc of Waterford, two sons Timothy LeBlanc of Waterford, Michael LeBlanc of Georgia, one sister Patricia Murray and her husband Robert of Delaware, her brother James Donegan and his wife Arlene on New York and New Jersey and three grandchildren Mark Ryan, Matthew and Sean Shepard.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday June 22 at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St in New London ( www.byles.com ) with a visiting hour from 9 to 10 am prior to the service.

Her burial will follow at the St. Mary Cemetery in New London.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be directed to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.
