Obituary: Frederick E. Hill, 82, Of Waterford
Frederick was a very active man who enjoyed seasonal camping, boating and traveling. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Frederick E. Hill, 82, of Waterford passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1936, in New London, the son of Frederick A. and Anna (Peltz) Hill.
Frederick worked as a general foreman for Electric Boat for 36 years before retiring. He was married to Patricia Hill on June 29, 1957 and together they spent 59 years until her passing in 2016.

Frederick was a very active man who enjoyed seasonal camping at Laurel Lock Campground, boating, traveling to Florida every year for the last 30 years, spending time with his buddies in Vermont, and was very proud of going for a ride on his quad on his 80th birthday.
He is survived by two daughters Linda Wilson and her husband Brian of Bozrah, Roxanne Hill Duperry and her fiancé Robert Senkow of Oakdale, a son Frederick S. Hill and his girlfriend Mary Blackmer of Waterford, 3 grandchildren Jason Bird, Collin Dulin, Stephanie Hill, 5 great grandchildren Jacob Bird, Collin Schaller, LaBella, Akira and Amani Hill; brother Edwin Hill (Rita); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James A. Hill.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Byles Memorial Home (99 Huntington Street, New London). Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (10 Huntington Street, New London). His burial will be held privately in St. Mary Mausoleum in New London.
Frederick will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
