Obituary: Holly Susan Hedge, 41, of Waterford

Holly Susan Hedge, 41 passed away surrounded by loving family on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Deep River after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born at home in Waterford on February 14, 1976 to parents Charles Hedge of Deep River and the late Barbara Hedge. Holly was a devoted mother and daughter who shared a special bond with her children, Cassandra Palmieri of Gales Ferry, Jacob Palmieri of Waterford, and Abigail Palmieri of Old Lyme.

Holly was a fashionista and dog lover who encouraged everyone around her to be more adventurous and "Live every moment." After going to school in Waterford she worked a range of different jobs, her favorites being those that kept her on the road traveling from store to store brining her sense of humor and radiance with her everywhere she went.

In addition to her father and children she is survived by her siblings Heather Bean and Trevor Hedge; nieces Kelly and Lily Bean; Uncle Douglass, Aunt Mary and their sons Courtland and Douglass Payne; Close Friends & Family Matthew, Tanya, Jimmy, Tracey, Joe, Phin, Dawn, Jay, Carol, Duncan, and Jordan.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 28th at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. Interment in will be private.
