Community Rallies Around Local Boy Diagnosed With Cancer
Daniel Walsh has bone cancer and needs your help. A fundraising page was set up for the boy who loves the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
Daniel Walsh of Jewett City loves the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, police officers, and firemen. He was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and faces a long and trying treatment plan.
Father Randy Walsh said Daniel spends three to four days a week in the hospital.
“I will be there by his side 24-7 and i just don’t know how we’re going to survive financially,” he wrote on a GoFundMe fundraising page for Daniel’s treatment. “Anyone wishing to help it will be greatly appreciated. Anyone who knows us knows that my son is my life. I am truly heart broken and just don’t know what else to do to survive. His treatments start the week of May 11, 2015. Pray for him, please. Thank you all.”
