Pasta Dinner Benefits Waterford Student Battling Cancer

Alicia, a seventh grader at Clark Lane, was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.

A pasta dinner and silent auction will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at St. Sophia’s Church, 200 Hempstead St., New London.

The event is a benefit for Alicia, a seventh grader at Waterford’s Clark Lane, who was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.

A basket raffle will also take place. Cost to attend is $10 per adult, $5 for kids and free for children under five.
