Pedestrian Struck At Waterford Mall, 'Life-Saving Measures' Performed
A person was injured in a crash at the Crystal Mall Tuesday and police performed life-saving measures.

WATERFORD, CT — A pedestrian was struck and injured in a crash at the Crystal Mall in Waterford on Tuesday, according to a police statement.
Police received a call stating that a pickup truck had hit a pedestrian at the mall.
Police arrived and performed life-saving measures until the Waterford Fire Department, Waterford Ambulance Service, and Memorial Paramedics arrived.

A 72-year-old man was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.

The Shoreline Traffic Accident Reconstruction team, which consists of the Waterford, East Lyme, and Montville police departments, responded to assist with the investigation.
