Package Thieves Hit Waterford Police

WATERFORD, CT - It's not just you - the all-too-common package thieves are even striking police departments. The Waterford Police Department said that they had a new phone stolen recently.

According to a social media post from police: "Our Waterford Sergeants were all excited to get a new phone for their daily operations, and when we opened it, there was nothing except some pads of paper simulating the weight of a phone."

Police said that for anyone who has an item stolen, you should report it to police. "If this happens to you, the answer is yes, so you can get your item replaced, we’ll be happy to investigate."
