Police: Crystal Mall Employee Took Voyeuristic Photo Of Woman

A 20-year-old Ledyard man was charged with voyeurism for allegedly taking 'compromising' photos of woman in Champs store in Crystal Mall.

WATERFORD, CT—A 20-year-old Champs Sports employee was charged with voyeuristic recording after a woman allegedly discovered him "taking compromising photos of her," The Day reported.

Sunday afternoon, police arrested Chad Domler after a woman "caught him" taking photos of her at the Crystal Mall store. Lt. Marc Balestracci told the paper the woman "confronted him immediately."

Mall security responded to Champs and the woman called police. Domler, of 12 Willow Lane, Ledyard, was arrested in the store.

Balestracci said he "was not aware whether similar incidents had occurred in the past but that police had enough evidence to make the arrest," it was reported.

Domler was apparently in charge of the store Sunday as it was reported that the had to close the store directly after his arrest at around 2:30 p.m.

Domler was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is due in court July 15, the paper reported. Domler's name does not appear on the Connecticut judiciary website.
