Police: Man Tried to Break Into Mallove’s Jewelers Friday Night

The Waterford Police Department has confirmed that somebody tried to break into Mallove’s Jewelers Friday night, but was unsuccessful.

The Day reports that police received a report at 7:48 p.m. Friday night of an attempted break-in at Mallove's Jewelers. Waterford Police Sgt. Jonathan Pettigrew said it is believed one person tried to break into the store, but was unsuccessful and did not steal anything from the store.

Pettigrew said the person was not immediately arrested. No further information was available.
