Police: Waterford Man, 70, Charged In Stabbing Incident
David Luzietti, 70, was charged by police with second degree assault in connection with a stabbing. He's being held on $100,000 bond.
WATERFORD, CT—A reported stabbing led to the arrest of a 70-year-old Waterford man, police said. David Luzietti of 3 Thrush St., was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, according to Waterford Police Lt. Marc Balestracci.
The arrest stemmed from a July 4 incident where police were called by neighbors who reported a person had been stabbed. Balestracci said that once officers were on scene, the victim was provided immediate medical attention for non life threatening injuries and was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
Luzietti was arrested "without incident" and transported to the Waterford Police Department where he was processed and held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond. He's scheduled to appear at New London Superior Court on Friday, July 5.
