Preschool Registration Open For 2019-20 At Waterford Schools

WATERFORD, CT — The Waterford Public Schools’ Preschool Program is accepting registration packets from Special Education students and Lottery Entrance Forms for General Education students for the 2019-2020 school year.

According to a release, parents/guardians of Special Education students are requested to fill out the preschool registration paperwork and return to the Waterford Board of Education office at 15 Rope Ferry Road by Friday, Feb. 15, 2019. There will also be a limited number of openings for General Education students in the preschool program. Peer role models are selected through a third party lottery system. If families are interested in being placed in the lottery, a Lottery Entrance Form is required. Parents/guardians of General Education students are asked to fill out the Lottery Entrance Form found at waterfordschools.org and return to the Waterford Board of Education (15 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford) by Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.

Only families with completed Lottery Entrance Forms will be included in the lottery. Families of General Education students will be notified by March 8, 2019 if they have a slot next year in the Waterford Public Schools’ Preschool Program.
