Proposed Waterford BBQ Joint Plan Derailed

WATERFORD, CT — Plans for a BBQ restaurant at Mago Point were cancelled after the would-be owners discovered they wouldn't be able to turn a profit due to unexpected construction costs and a parking shortage.

East Lyme natives Paul and Pete Daversa had planned to turn the sleepy area into a draw for residents in the area and beyond, according to the New London Day.

The space will instead be developed into office space.
