Prostitution, Drug Trafficking Sting Results in 10 Arrests
Groton hotels were the site of alleged prostitution, police said. The suspects allegedly advertised online in the New London County-area.

Ten people were arrested after the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East and the Groton Town Police Department initiated an investigation into suspected prostitution and drug trafficking in Groton from local hotels.
The investigation focused on suspected prostitutes advertising services online in the Groton area, according to Connecticut State Police.
All suspects were arrested and processed at the Groton Town Police Department on Tuesday, Sept. All will be arraigned at New London Superior Court.

- Amanda Evora, 30, of 333 Orms St Apt 3 Providence, R.I.

- Armand Barros Gomes, 27, of 69 Miguel St., Pawtucket, R.I.; also arrested for failure to respond
- Jordana Rosao, 23, of 79 Warren St Providence, R.I. Additional charges for Rosao: Possession of hallucinogens and possession of hallucinogens with intent to sell
