Rep. McCarty Discusses Local Issues with Constituents

Holds Coffee Hour at the Waterford Public Library

WATERFORD Rep. Kathleen McCarty (R-38) hosted a coffee hour last week at the Waterford Public Library as an opportunity for members of the community to meet with her and discuss issues that arose during the 2016 Legislative Session, as well as local issues going on in the district. Rep. McCarty provided information regarding major acts passed in 2016 related to seniors, healthcare, veterans, education and more – copies of which are still available at the library, which is located on Rope Ferry Road.

“It was so nice to connect with my friends and neighbors last week at the library – I’m grateful that several interested and active members of our community were able meet with me,” said Rep. McCarty. “I look forward to hosting another coffee hour soon so that I can continue to learn about constituents’ concerns and interests regarding legislative acts that impact their lives.”
