½ cup of bacon diced

2 cloves diced garlic

3tbls of olive oil

1 white onion julienned

1 apple peeled, cored and julienned

2 tbls brown sugar

1/8 tsp. of vanilla extracts (dash)

Salt & pepper

*heat oven to 350 degrees*

*Par-cook your diced bacon and it will crisp up wonderfully*

Potatoes

In a bowl toss your diced garlic, packet of ranch dip mix, potatoes, and par cooked diced bacon and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Spread evenly on a cookie sheet and cook for 20-25 min at 350 degrees.

Onions

In a bowl mix together your julienned onion, apple, brown sugar and vanilla extract with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Put on a cookie sheet and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Pork

Season your pork evenly (and this is by preference of course). Heat a medium sauté pan with 1 tablespoon of oil and add the pork. Sear both sides evenly (nice golden brown crust if possible). Depending on the thickness of your pork; you can either cook it all the way in the sauté pan or finish it in the oven (about 10 min).

Once everything is done, Place potatoes on the plate accompanied by the pork and top the pork with your delicious candied onions, serve with your favorite vegetable and you’re good to go. ENJOY!
