
Monday was another day, another victory for a basketball team.
Monday, the Waterford girls basketball team clinched at least a tie for first place in the Eastern Connecticut Conference Medium Division with a 57-52 victory over Stonington, according to The Bulletin.
Waterford girls are now 14-3, and 8-0 within the ECC Medium Division, and have won 11 games in a row. Meanwhile, Waterford’s boys team is having an even better season, as they are currently 12-0 after beating Montville 79-59 on Friday.

The boys team plays tonight at 7 against Stonington at home. The girls’ next game is Thursday at 7 p.m. against Ledyard in Waterford.
