Sugar Brings The Party To Waterford Beach Park For A Free Wednesday Night Concert

WATERFORD, CT — If your Wednesday nights have been feeling a little too quiet lately, Waterford Recreation and Parks has the cure: Sugar, one of New England's most relentlessly high-energy dance bands, takes the stage at Waterford Beach Park on Aug. 5 as part of the town's free 2026 Summer Concert Series.

The show begins at 6:00 p.m. at Waterford Beach Park, 305 Great Neck Rd. Admission is free, the lawn is yours, and the only thing you need to bring is a chair, a blanket, and whoever you want to dance next to.

Sugar is not a band that lets a crowd stand still for long. The Connecticut-based group has been a fixture of the New England music scene for more than two decades, building a reputation for performances that leave guests gushing — and dancing.
