SUV Hit Car Before Wrecking Waterford Weigh Station: Police

WATERFORD, CT — State police said an SUV that destroyed a weigh station building Friday on Interstate 95 in Waterford drifted into the left lane of the highway and sideswiped another vehicle before going off the right side and hitting the structure, the New London Day reported.

According to the New London Day, police said the driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries and the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured. No one has been charged in the crash, police said.
