The Cross Road Paving Project is a $2.7M project funded by the State of Connecticut, not Waterford residents, and is scheduled to start this week! Please note, the schedule below is just for reference and is subject to weather. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works Office at 860-444-5864 between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. The Waterford Police Department will be updating residents on traffic, detours, night work schedule and other daily updates as needed, utilizing social media.
RT 85 (Hartford Turnpike) to Foster Road• June 1-7, Utility Adjustments (manhole, water gates, gas valves)• June 8, mill 3.5 inches of asphalt off the road• June 9, install temp traffic markings for one lane in each direction• June 13-14, pave the first course• June 14, install temp traffic markings for one lane in each direction

Parkway South (I 06 South) to Foster Road• June 1-7, Utility adjustments (manhole, water gates, gas valves)• June 15, mill 3.5 inches of asphalt off the road• June 16, install temp traffic markings for one lane in each direction• June 20-21, pave the first course• June 21, install temp traffic markings for one lane in each direction
Entire Length of Road• June 22-24, pave the final course• June 28-29, line striping and July 1st, anticipated completion date
