UCP of Eastern CT's Dash, Stroll & Roll to the Beach 5K

Join United Cerebral Palsy of Eastern Connecticut as we host our Dash, Stroll & Roll to the Beach 5K at Camp Harkness!

Registration is open!

United Cerebral Palsy of Eastern Connecticut is hosting its first 5K fun run. A beautiful course at Camp Harkness and onto Great Neck Road, Waterford where runners will loop back towards the beach. The race will be held on Sunday, August 30th at 9am at Camp Harkness in Waterford, CT and is an inclusive event for adult and children with and without disabilities. We are anticipating 300 runners at this event. This event will officially kick off UCP’s Steptember which is a worldwide event to raise awareness for cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Steptember is an exciting 4 week team activity that provides participants with the opportunity to improve their health, fitness and well being, all while raising awareness and much needed funds for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities by challenging themselves to take 10,000 steps a day. Nearly every activity such as biking, physical therapy and yoga can be converted into steps!

We do hope that you will join us in the Steptember Challenge. Dash, Stroll & Roll to the Beach 5K is an exciting way to start a journey to health while raising awareness for individuals with disabilities.

Join us for the 5K and Steptember kick off. You will be glad that you did!
