Vandalism On Former School Property Investigated In Waterford
Police are investigating hate speech vandalism incidents that were found at a former school in Waterford, according to a report.
WATERFORD, CT — Police are investigating after hate speech and other symbols were spray-painted on the back of the former Southwest School property on Daniels Avenue, according to WFSB 3.
WFSB reports the graffiti incidents, which were found on July 29 and Aug. 2, led to increased police patrols in the area. The patrols led to the arrests of five juveniles who were charged with trespassing after they were found in the school building on Aug. 4, according to WFSB.
Police said they couldn’t connect the juveniles with the graffiti incidents and are continuing to investigate the vandalism.
