Walmart Worker's Car Stolen After Keys Dropped in Parking Lot

The suspect matched the keys to the car and allegedly stole the 1989 Ford Crown Victoria at Waterford's Walmart.

The Waterford Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle from the lot of the Waterford Wal Mart at about 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19. A person went to work at Walmart, and on the way into the store, unknowingly dropped their keys.

The suspect pictured was at the Wamart for about 15-20 minutes, and went outside. He then found the dropped keys, looked at different vehicles, eventually matching up the keys to the car, and allegedly stole it. The victim discovered the theft this morning when they left from their shift.

The vehicle in question is a 1989 Ford Crown Victoria four door color black, the front tires are white walls. The car has a faded and rusty hood and faded trunk. The vehicle has Connecticut registration 2AEFV3 on it.
