A local community member and business owner has donated face masks for each member of the police department.

WATERFORD, CT — Lauren Rush, a local community member and owner of Lauren Rush's Alterations, recently donated face masks for each member of the police department, according to the department's Facebook page.

"Besides taking the time to take care of us she also is part a group of volunteers called A Ripple in the Water that also provides masks for various organizations including but not limited to military, health care workers and first responders," the post reads.

"She is supported by her husband, an active duty Lieutenant in the US Navy and her three wonderful children. Having support from amazing people like Lauren will ensure we all get through this together."
