WATERFORD, CT — Waterford is getting closer to enacting a ban on cannabis sales, according to The New London Day. The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed a proposed draft of regulations that would ban cannabis sales at a Tuesday night meeting.
The town's current moratorium on cannabis sales is set to expire Dec. 17. If the commission doesn't take any action, cannabis dispensaries and retailers would be allowed in town.
However, the proposed regulations would ban all cannabis establishments with the exception of medical marijuana facilities, which are currently allowed.
